Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan with Maria Tripodi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy

On July 29, in New York, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affair of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan met with Maria Tripodi, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for further enhancing bilateral relations, highlighting the mutual readiness to strengthen economic and trade ties.

The Deputy Minister briefed his counterpart on the current state of Armenia-EU relations, the situation surrounding Armenia in the South Caucasus, and the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative designed by the Government of Armenia and aimed at unblocking regional infrastructures.

The sides also exchanged views on the security situation in the Middle East and on cooperation between Armenia and Italy within multilateral platforms.
